T.I. shared details about a new record produced by the legendary Dr. Dre. The track, titled “Where I’m From.” will appear on T.I.’s upcoming album, “Kill The King.” This collaboration marks a significant moment for the veteran rapper’s final project before he moves away from music.

Dr. Dre’s Contribution

T.I. revealed that Dr. Dre sent him the record and he went to Dre’s house to lay down verses. The song features Anderson .Paak and an artist named Stallone. T.I. expressed his admiration for Dr. Dre’s dedication to making great music. He mentioned that he’s always willing to work with someone committed to the best outcome for a record.

The Album “Kill The King”

The release date for T.I.’s album “Kill The King” has not been announced yet. He has been working on this project for years, releasing the lead single “Let Em Know” in January. T.I. previously confirmed in February that this will be his final album before he transitions away from music. He spoke about the album’s title with TMZ back in 2023. T.I. explained that the “King of the South” moniker felt too egotistical. He recalled Big Boi warning him about the title, saying that being a king puts a bullseye on your back and life is a game of chess called “Kill The King.”
